Rakhabadhan is the best festival of Hindu showing their love of their loving sister. 

Today I am going to tell you the story behind the rakhabadhan. Rakhabadhan is the the word  comes from sanskrit rakhabadhanam.Rakha mening protect and bandhan is the bond. This factivel is fall on full moon day of shaven month. 

1. Mata laxmi and bali 

The domen king bali have the boon from bagwaan Vishnu that he is the gatekeeper of him. Mata laxmi heard about this then she want to the Raja bali and she make him her brother by tie a colour cotton in his hand. This day is shaven full moon day then Raja bali said her sister for any of her wish then laxmi said your gatekeeper is my husband I want him. Then Raja bali said he gave his gatekeeper for 6month then for 6 months he will be my gatekeeper. 

Their is another story 

2.krishna and dropadi. 

Once the pandavas organise a rajsurya yaga. In this Krishna kill shiupaal with sudarshan. Krishna finger is cut from sudarshan Chakra then dropadi cut her saari and cover the Krishna finger. On this day the rakhabadhan is celebrated. 

3.the birth of Santoshi. 

Rakhabadhan is celebrated as the birth of Mata Santoshi. Once when maa mansa visit to the house of Lord ganesha then riddhi and siddhi tell Lord ganesha to have a little daughter. This little baby is called Mata Santoshi. On this day we celebrate rakhabadhan. 

4.Yama and yam unable. 

The another story is about Yama the god of death and the river flow in india called yamuna. Yamuna is Holy river of india. 

Once Yamuna wiped a thread on the arm of God of death then yam God of death give a boon that you are became a holy river and your name is immortal in history and always your name is with the name of Bhagwaan shri Krishna. On that day the shawan mass we celebrate 

Rakhabadhan. 

Rakhabadhan is the very deep factivel of the brother and sister this is not just a small thred but a protection layer by brother to her loving sister. I have a small cute sister but this rakhabadhan she is far away from me. I she knows I always love her. Thanks for reading.
