In a country like India, where gender inequality is still a issue even in 2021, feminism becomes a thing of utmost importance. Feminists are those who support feminism and fight for women rights.

However  how many feminists these days know the real meaning of feminism? Feminism actually defines the act of protecting women's rights on the ground of equality of sexes. Where feminism actually is a positive and much desired word, the hypocrisy going on in the country in the name of feminism is something that attaches the dark side to it. 

It is true that there are thousands of underprivileged women who are still deprived of basic rights of Life like education, choice of life etc., and for that feminism is important. But feminism should never imply that the entire male community should be blamed for what is going around us.

Feminism reflects the idea that the society favours the male point of view and women are treated unfairly in such society. In order to lessen the gender disparity it is necessary to combat gender stereotype and provide equal rights and opportunity to both the genders. This no where means that feminism gives women right to disrespect or mistreat the other gender.

Today fake feminism or pseudo feminism has taken over the concept of feminism and it has been started to be believed that females are the superior gender. This was never the goal of true feminism. Feminism supports the idea that both the genders are equal. 

Feminism tells the society that a woman is capable of doing anything a man can do. Woman can be an astronaut, a doctor, a cricketer or a house wife; that's her choice. But choices, be it of a man or a woman, must consider if it is causing harm to the society around. A woman just by the virtue of her gender cannot choose to slap an innocent man, or bring false claims about a man. That's what pseudo feminism is all about. 

In remote villages of India, female feticide, dowry, no right to education for women are some very common issues. However feminism these days fail to reach out to such problems and has only been restricted to copying what the other gender is doing.

This can't be feminism. This is what the society is afraid of. This is pseudo feminism. It is very necessary now to differentiate between feminism and fake feminism to stop the further parmanent damage to mankind.
