As I was telling you all my lockdown story, which is also a great accomplishment for me till now, and without wasting my and your time, will continue with that. If you haven't read the first part which is my previous blog, go through it once, and you might also get some idea of doing a great thing in writing field, and then you will also get an understanding of this blog.

So, as I already told that I got the certificate of publishing with them as a co-author, they also mentioned that it might take 2 months to get the anthologies ready and delivered. So, I was eagerly waiting for it everyday, but then second wave of Covid-19 hit India badly, and things became worse because of which the whole process of publishing the anthology got late, and it took 3-4 months. 

Few days before delivering the book, they shared the cover image of book with all, and when I got the mail, I was so happy to see the cover and more excited to know that soon I will receive the book. Few days after that finally I received the anthology for which I was eagerly waiting. As soon as book was delivered to me, I immediately opened its packing and found my poem in it. Below is the cover image which I received in mail.

The thing that made me even more glad was that my parents were happier than me to see my poem published in a book, and that moment gave me a sense of achievement. I realized that I can do something, I have it in me to do great things, and I will do, and make my parents proud. I started looking for more opportunities like this and just a few days after that I saw another ad of a poetry anthology, and I took part in it. 

Even the perks you get as an co-author are amazing. You get perks such as a certificate of publication, sometimes an e-book, or sometimes a hard copy (if it is a paid one), some even provide with hardcopy of certificate, and most of the books are available on Amazon and Flipkart. Some even give royalty programs as a perk. Royalty is the commission you get if someone buys book through your link, and that link is provided to you by the publication house itself. In my first anthology, they had this royalty program, and I even earned some money from that, though not a much big amount, but for me it was my first earning, so a big deal for me.

Some anthologies give option of submitting more than one poem, and if both the poems are good, both are selected, and if not both, one is good, then that's selected for publishing. So, in the next anthology, I submitted two poems, and eagerly waited for the results. In this anthology, there was no fee for getting published, if your entry gets selected, and if you are selected, you can either buy book from them, or you can also buy it from amazon, as they too have their books on amazon. And luckily, one of my poem got selected there too. And I ordered it from their link because they also provide hardcopy of certificate if you buy from them.
