Hello everyone! In this blog is about insects..

Beetles:

Beetles have been around for millions to billions of years. Most beetles belong to the order Coleoptera, which includes weevils, roaches, grasshoppers, mantids, and others. There are several different species of beetles including ladybugs, fireflies, cockroaches, centipedes, pill bugs, crickets, earwigs, and many more!

Caterpillar:

The caterpillar phase is the third stage of insect development. Caterpillars are herbivores that eat various kinds of vegetation. The largest group of caterpillars are butterflies, moths, and skippers, which all belong to Lepidoptera, or butterfly family.

Spider Mites:

Spider mites are tiny arachnids (arthropods) that have eight legs and bite-like appendages. Spider mites are often mistaken for ticks, which are both related to spiders. However, spider mites are much smaller than ticks and do not carry any diseases.

Ladybug:

Ladybugs are members of Hemiptera. Hemiptera means having two pairs of wings. Ladybugs have six legs and three bodies, including a head and thorax. Their antennae have ten segments. Their mouthparts consist of a pair of mandibles and maxillae. Ladybugs have oval-shaped bodies that range between 0.7 to 2 centimeters long and brown or black colors.

Fleas:

Fleas are parasites that live on animals. They are small, winged, blood-sucking parasites. Fleas generally suck human blood, but you can find fleas on pets, birds, and wild mammals. You may even find fleas on yourself if you spent time camping in the woods.

Mosquitoes:

Mosquitoes are very small and slender flying insects. Mosquitoes are found worldwide, although they prefer warm climates. There are over 3000 mosquito species and mosquitoes can vary greatly in size and color. Most people call them “blood-suckers” or “insects that spread disease” due to their role in spreading malaria, West Nile Virus, Dengue Fever, Yellow Fever, Japanese encephalitis, St. Louis Encephalitis, and Chikungunya virus infection.

Ants:

Ants are social insects who live together in colonies. Ants are very helpful insects since they keep garden pests under control. They can also provide valuable services to humans. In fact, ants have been shown to help farmers harvest more fruits than without them.

Grasshopper:

Grasshoppers are related to crickets and katydids. They hop along the ground and jump just high enough to reach vegetation. Grasshoppers are found worldwide and throughout North America. They live primarily in the spring and summer months.

Moth:

Moths lay eggs on various types of vegetation, making them extremely prolific. The eggs hatch, leaving behind larvae in search of food. Once they find food, they spin cocoons and pupate before emerging from their cocoon.
