Hello everyone! In this blog is about salads…. 

Pasta salad:

A hearty pasta salad is perfect for lunch or even as part of a picnic. This pasta salad is also suitable for vegetarians.

Ingredients :

Pasta-500g

Cold-pressed olive oil-3tsp

Stoneless black olives-100ml

Artichoke hearts-400g

Avocado-3

Tomato-4

Italian salad mix-300g

Salt-1 tsp

Black pepper-touch

Preparation :

Start the pasta salad by cooking the pasta according to the instructions on the package, rinse with cold water and let drain in a colander.

Tubular penne pasta, spiral fusilli pasta or butterfly-like farfalle pasta are the best for pasta salad.

Cut or crumble the cheese into pieces and mix the pieces with the pasta, oil and olives.

Drain the artichoke hearts, split the avocados and remove the stones. Cut the vegetables into pieces and add to the pasta.

Rinse the salad mixture gently and let the lettuce leaves dry before gently tossing them into the salad.You can leave kohlrabi leaves as a decoration on top of the salad.

Finally, season the pasta salad with salt and pepper.

Lentil salad with strawberries:

This lentil salad with strawberries proves that strawberries aren't just for desserts! Strawberries bring a wonderful sweetness to summer's favorite salads.

Ingredients :

Strawberries-500g

Green lentils-100ml

Red chili-1

A pot of fresh coriander-2

Lime juice and pulp-1

Olive oil-3tsp

Honey-1/2 tsp

Salt - 1/2tsp

Black pepper - touch

Preparation :

Lentil salad with strawberries is easy to prepare. Start preparing the lentil salad by cooking the lentils according to the instructions on the package.Allow the lentils to cool.

If you wish, lentil salad with strawberries can also be prepared with a package of pre-cooked lentils.

Cut the strawberries into quarters. Cut the chili in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.Chop the chili and coriander. Put the strawberries, lentils, coriander and chilli on a serving plate.

Mix the lime pulp and juice, oil and honey to make a sauce. Season the sauce with salt and black pepper.Pour the dressing over the lentil salad and mix the dressing into the lentil salad.

Crumble Apetina Original cheese over the lentil salad.

Serve the finished lentil salad with strawberries on its own or as a side dish to grilled dishes!

Potato salad:

Potato salad is suitable for summer parties and as a side dish for everyday meals. The best potato salad is made with yogurt, spring onion, cucumber and chives.

Ingredients :

Water-1lit

Coarse salt-1tsp

New potatoes-1 1/4tsp

Turkish yogurt-200g

Vegetable broth-100ml

Sweet mustard-2tsp

Diced cucumber-100g

Fresh chives, chopped-2dl

Pepper mill-touch

Preparation :

Start the potato salad by first boiling water and salt in a pot. Add the potatoes and cook on a low heat under the lid for about 12 minutes or until they are cooked.Peel the potatoes and let them cool.

Process the onions and cucumber. Rinse the spring onion and cut into thin rings. Chop the chives. Transfer the onions to a serving bowl.Rinse the cucumber and cut it into cubes, pour the cucumber cubes into a bowl.

In a smaller container, mix yogurt, 1 dl water and mustard into a smooth sauce.Cut the potatoes into cubes and transfer to a serving bowl. Add the sauce and mix gently. Season with salt and pepper.

Move the potato salad, covered, to the refrigerator to set for at least half an hour.Check the taste of the potato salad and serve it as a side dish or e.g. with grilled food.
