Hi again! Welcome or welcome back my dear bloggers to my daily blogs. I hope you all are in well health and are having a blast of a day.

Central park is a park located in the New York City. It is between the Upper west side and the upper east sides of Manhattan. It is the 5th biggest park in the city that covers 843 acres. Central Park is the most visited urban park in the whole United States that has about 42 million visitors in a year as estimated in the year of 2016.

Central park was created in the year 1857 to 1876 and is now owned by NYC Parks. It is named as U.S. National Register of Historic Places, U.S. National Historic landmark and  NYC Scenic Landmark. Fredrick Law Olmsted and Clavert Vaux are the landscape architects of the Central Park. They won a design competition with their Greensward plan. It has about 4 km (2.5 miles ) from north to south and 0.8 km (0.5 miles) from east to west. The central park has natural landforms and plantings, it was almost entirely landscaped when built in 1850s and 1860s. It has 8 lakes and ponds created artificially by damming flows.
