Hello everyone! In this blog is about places famous for food…

India:

India is known for its rich culture and diversity. Today, the country boasts of culinary delights such as spicy curries, aromatic tea and coffee, and scrumptious sweets. Indians also love their biryani – a dish consisting of rice steamed with meat and vegetables. Biryani originated in Persia (now Iran). But due to trade routes across Asia, it was brought back to India where it became famous.

Italy:

Italy is well-known for pizza, pasta, ice cream, wine, gelato, and chocolate! Gelato originates from Turin, Italy and is similar to ice cream, except that it contains less air than ice cream. There are many varieties of pizza. A margherita pizza is topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, basil leaves, and olive oil. You may have heard of the expression, “When in Rome...” This means that people often take advantage of the opportunity to travel when they visit the places where they want to eat good food.

France:

France is often associated with fine dining. French cuisine includes lots of garlic, onions, butter, cream, herbs, spices, sauces, and red wine. Another popular dish is coq au vin. Coq Au Vin translates directly to “rooster under vine." This dish consists of chicken stewed with bacon, mushrooms, carrots, and white wine.

China:

China offers some delicious dishes like wonton soup and crispy noodles. Wonton Soup is a Chinese noodle soup containing ground pork and shrimp. Crispy Noodles are long, thin strips of wheat flour dough fried until golden brown and then simmered with eggs, soy sauce, sugar, and scallions.

Japan:

Japan is famous for its sushi and sashimi. Sushi is raw fish, while Sashimi is raw fish salad. People who enjoy Japanese sushi say that eating it makes them feel happy. One popular type of sushi is California Roll, which combines avocado, crabmeat, cucumber, and California rolls.

Mexico:

Mexican cuisine is diverse. It features corn tortillas, beans, chili peppers, tomatoes, avocados, pomegranate seeds, cilantro, limes, chilies, guacamole, salsa, and queso fresco. Chocolate lovers should try at least one of these treats: mole de olla (a thick chocolate drink), hot chocolate, Mexican wedding cakes, or flan.

Thailand:

Thailand is well-known for its curries, including green curry, yellow curry, red curry, massaman curry, and lemongrass curry. Green curry has turmeric and coconut milk as ingredients. Massaman Curry is spiced with ginger and turmeric. Yellow curry is spiced with galangal root (related to ginger) and turmeric. Red curry has tomato paste, onion, and garlic. Lemongrass Curry is spiced with lemon grass and is commonly eaten with sticky rice.
