Hello everyone! In this blog is about foot cracks…..
Avoid walking barefoot in wet soil conditions. Wet soils are difficult to walk upon and can lead to foot cramps. This condition is called fissures and occurs when your shoes pick up water from the ground and you then place your foot down into this watery area. The moist soil causes a small crack to form in the sole.
If your shoes have a leather upper, look for shoes that are designed for hiking or climbing. These types of shoes have thicker soles and areless likely to cause any damage.
Regularly soaking your feet in warm water can help prevent cracking and blisters. Also make sure that your feet aren't exposed to extreme heat, as this can lead to swelling, which could result in painful cracks.
Washing your feet ensures that dirt and debris don't accumulate under your toenails, which leads to cracked nails. To wash your feet properly, use soap and lukewarm water; never let any hot water touch your feet. This will keep your skin hydrated and increase its ability to heal after a blister forms.
Wear socks if you are going to be out in wet, muddy terrain. Not only does wearing socks help keep your feet dry,but they can protect them from injuries caused by sharp objects in the mud. Wearing socks will also provide cushioning between your foot and the ground.
Wear closed-toe shoes. Open-toed shoes leave your toes exposed to potential injury from sharp rocks or other debris. The toe box provides protection if something hits the front of the shoe.
Wear comfortable footwear.Shoes should fit properly and not pinch your feet at times.
Don’t wear flip flops or sandals. Flip flops do not offer much protection to your feet. Also, sandals tend to slip off easily due to the nature of their design and lack of stability.
Keep your feet elevated while sitting or standing.Elevating them will allow blood flow to restock the veins and help reduce swelling.
Dry your feet thoroughly before putting on any type of footwear.Waterlogged feet can clog up the capillaries underneath the skin and cause inflammation.
Don't Wear Crocs! - We've got some news for all those people who wear crocs while working their gardens outdoors. Your feet will inevitably get wet, whether you like it or not. If you want to keep your feet nice and dry, then consider wearing boots or something similar with some good grip.
