Hello everyone! In this blog is about colours of hibiscus…

Hibiscus is one of my favorite flowers, but I have never counted how many different colors there are. You can count them, though! There are at least seven different varieties that come in reds, oranges, yellows, pinks, purples, whites, and even greens. Some people say there are eight colors, but that may just be because they're counting the two colorless varieties. However, there is no doubt about the fact that there are multiple varieties of this pretty flower.

Hibiscus has over 80 different varities of flowers that vary in color from deep reds, oranges, greens, yellows, pinks, purples, and whites to almost black! This is no surprise since this beautiful flower is cultivated throughout Africa,South America, and Asia.

In addition, hibiscus is known for its sweet yet sour-tasting fruits. These fruits have been used for centuries as foodstuffs in the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Hibiscus rosa sinensis - these are the classic pink, white, and blue varieties common across Europe and Asia. They are often called rose of Sharon.

Hibiscus syriacus - these are popularly called 'orange' hibiscus, but they come in many other colors including yellow and green.

Hibiscu lisbonensis - these come in shades of orange, magenta, light purple, grey, and even brown. Some of the lighter colored ones may also appear as lavenders.

Hibiscus - White Flower:

This type of flower has white petals and is usually round in shape. This type of flower is native to Mexico and Central America and is called “Dulce de Leche” (Sweet Milk). It is commonly used to make jams and jellies. Its sweet fragrance makes it an ideal addition to a garden for attracting pollinators.

Hibiscusses – Blue Flower:

The blue variety of Hibiscus flower is indigenous to China and Japan. These flowers are also known as “Kaki-an” in Japanese. In Chinese folklore, they were said to bring good luck and fortune. This flower can be grown just like any other flower, but requires a lot of sun exposure. Because of its large size, these flowers require a larger space than the other flowers.

Red Hibiscus:

Red-colored hibiscus is most likely the most common type of hibiscuses out there. There are many types of this hibiscus, including the'red', 'orange', 'pink', and 'purple'. Like its name suggests, red hibiscus usually has a deep, rich, bright red color.

Yellow Hibiscus:

The hibiscus flower has a yellow color to it. This particular variety is called the 'yellow' hibiscus. Since it's considered to be a rare beauty among flowers, it is quite expensive compared to any other type of hibiscus.
