Hello everyone! In this blog is about chocolates..
Good :
Chocolate is high in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Dark chocolate contains flavonoids, which are powerful antioxidants. Cocoa butter, which is the fat inside of cocoa beans, is loaded with antioxidants.
Milk chocolate is considered healthier than white chocolate. Both types of chocolate have similar amounts of calories. However, milk chocolate contains less sugar and more fiber than white chocolate. White chocolate contains a lot of sugar and little fiber. Dairy products are full of protein, fats, and calcium. So eating chocolate doesn't mean you're eating junk food. It's just different kinds of foods!
Chocolate helps us sleep. In fact, some people say they never feel refreshed until after consuming chocolate. Chocolate triggers the release of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates sleep. Serotonin affects the brain's production of melatonin, which makes us sleepy. Melatonin helps regulate our internal clock. When we eat chocolate, we produce higher levels of serotonin, which means we stay asleep longer. Studies show that people who consume chocolate regularly tend to get fewer colds and flu viruses.
Chocolate is delicious. You don't have to give up sweets completely if you want to enjoy chocolate. There are many varieties of candy bars and desserts you can incorporate into your diet. Try having a small piece of dark chocolate instead of a big piece of cake. It won't hurt you - and you'll still taste great!
Bad :
Chocolate contains caffeine and theobromine - both of which stimulate heart rate and blood pressure. Caffeine keeps us awake and theobromine relaxes us. Both have negative effects on our body's cardiovascular system, especially if we consume them regularly.
Chocolate isn't nutritious at all - it doesn't provide many vitamins and minerals.
Chocolate is addictive and makes people crave it even more!
There are lots of chemicals in chocolate (not just bad ones)! Chocolate gets its dark color from things like cocoa butter and caramel coloring. Other chemicals in chocolate include lead, cadmium and mercury.
Cocoa butter, a fat found in cocoa beans, contains saturated fats. In addition to being fattening, these fats may clog arteries and increase cholesterol levels.
Drinking milk with chocolate may make you worse off than drinking nothing at all. Milk triggers the release of gastric juices, which break down protein-rich food. If you drink milk with chocolate, the breakdown may be much slower, making you feel fuller longer.
