There are different "types" of tea parties that you can organize ... high tea, afternoon tea, cream tea, light tea... who knew that tea was so complicated? !!
Girls learn to enjoy tea parties from an early age, but this type of entertainment is not limited to any particular age group. Tea parties serve as a celebration for people of all ages, from business to baby showers. In fact, spending time drinking good tea is a ritual centuries ago. In addition to great tea, tea parties are a great way to celebrate, spend time with your loved ones and change your usual routine.
The first and most important step is to choose a day for your afternoon tea party, followed by creating and sending out invites to your guest list. For me, a tea party should be held in the early evening or late afternoon. The size of your afternoon tea gathering may be determined by your budget. Personally, I prefer small, private gatherings. While looking for websites to generate tea party invitations, I came on THIS, and believe me, it is the nicest one I have seen.
Plenty of tea as well as drinks! We recommend serving more typical teas, such as English breakfasts and Earl Gray teas, but I think it's also essential to serve your favorite teas. It's also a great way to introduce your guests to your new favorite tea. Personally, I prefer to make tea the protagonist of the program and minimize accessories. Vegetable / chicken sandwiches, homemade cashew cookies, and in some cases pineapple upside down cakes and small chocolate cupcakes.
Here are some ideas to help you get started:
➼ Themed center: gypsophila in a vase, plate, soup bowl, silverware, glass.
➼ One cup of tea for each guest, and a kettle sufficient to accommodate the amount of tea served
➼ Make mid sugar even if you don't use these items, it's a good idea to provide guests with options.
➼ Extra teaspoon for stirring salt and pepper shakes
➼ Tea and cake sandwiches are offered on three levels of platforms.
➼ Flower / green candle
There is no doubt that Mad Hatter's tea party was inspired by the story and the movie "Alice in Wonderland". Set up a nice bright outdoor scene with fresh flowers, antique teapots and large chairs. Disguise the guest as your favorite character in the novel and let the host play Mad Hatter yourself.
This tea party isn't just about Alice in the inspiring wonderland movie scene. If you or your honorary guest prefer blood red and black, consider the Queen of Hearts-themed tea party. Decorate your party area with large chess pieces, playing cards and centers, and heart-shaped decorations. Served with a small red velvet cupcake.
When the day of your afternoon tea party arrives, remember to unwind and enjoy all you've arranged. An afternoon tea party can be a lot of fun and a terrific opportunity to get together with friends and/or family members. Tea should be steeped. Sip your tea.
The most important thing is to create lifelong memories!
