When you work on a laptop or computer provided by an organization, then it should be used only for work related to the office.  This computer is not yours, so it is not appropriate to use it for personal purposes.  Some organizations also use such software so that they can keep track of every activity of the employees.  They keep getting all the information like what you are doing, and which website you are opening.  

1 Messaging or Chatting:-

 Almost all messenger apps can be used by syncing from mobile to computer.  In such a situation, while working on the institute's computer, it is not right to chat by syncing the Messenger app.  Similarly, using social media on a computer and chatting with friends on Messenger can have a negative impact on your job.

  2 Saving personal information: - 

When you log in to the website of a bank or social media etc. or fill out the form, then password, photo, and personal documents like Aadhar card, etc. are also saved in a folder.  Keep in mind that big institutions are always at risk of cyber attacks.  If your password is in their hands, they can misuse your personal information, especially bank information.  Therefore, do not keep personal photographs, addresses, or other documents on the computer of the institute.
 

3 Troubles for companies: - 

Many global companies conduct surveys related to the loss of work due to the use of office laptops or computers for personal work.  According to the results of a survey - 59 percent of Indian participants who answered the survey admitted that they use the office Internet for personal work, this percentage was found 53 percent among Singapore employees, 48 ​​percent in the UK, and 37 percent in the UAE.

4 Searching for a new job:-

 If you are looking for a new job, then it is better that you do not update your resume on the computer of the institute.  It is also not advisable to use it to find a new job.  If the institute is keeping an eye on your computer with the help of any software, then because of this your image may get spoiled and the job may also be lost. 

5 Do not download files: - 

Avoid downloading any unknown files in the equipment provided by the institute.  If you are downloading a file for personal use, it may not be secure.  This may expose the computer to malware or cyber-attacks.  If this happens, your office work can stop for a long time because you will not be able to use the laptop or computer until it is not fixed.  Also, avoid using public wifi or any pen drive.
