The technology of folding or flexible screens is revolutionary in many ways. In the next few years, many gadgets with foldable/flexible screens will be in our homes in the same way as there is a smartphone in every hand today.  These gadgets have already been launched.  In the coming times, many more such gadgets, mainly phones, will be launched with the new technology of flexibility.

 During the last two years in the market, we have seen folding phones from many companies.  Although still, they are quite expensive in terms of price.  At present, these phones are available in the range of 65 thousand to 2 lakh rupees.  

But when this technology becomes a little more common and more work is done on it, their prices will also come down soon.  Still, it will take at least two more years for these gadgets to reach the common man's pocket.  Screen delicate thickness more This year many smartphone companies have launched smartphones with folding screens in the market.  

Most of these smartphones either open like the old clamshell design (flip phone) or fold the screen like a book or have a strange dual screen.  There are creases in the middle of the screen that folds like a book, and the phone becomes quite thick after being folded.  Even in the clamshell design, there is a fear of wrinkling.  Many complaints of screen cracking have also been heard.

  Rollable screen:- 

In 2023, many more types of designs will be seen in folding smartphones, including those with rollable (which can be rolled) screens.

There will also be smartphones.  According to the design, the rollable screen would be better.  In this, the motor present inside the phone will fold the screen inside itself, just like we roll the chart paper.  In this, at the press of a button, the screen will switch from phone mode to tablet mode.  

All this amazing will happen with the help of motors inside the body of the phone.  This will also increase the lifespan of the foldable screen.  Will also be slimmer: In the coming times, foldable phones will be even slimmer.  Companies are working on such a foldable screen, which will be even bigger in size when opened.  

The screen of the tablet can be converted into a 20-21 inch television.  On the other hand, research is also going on on such phones, which can be folded into the size of a credit or debit card. Overall, foldable phones can prove to be very practical in our lives even according to usage.  Hopefully, the day is not far when we all have gadgets similar to the ones Samsung showed off at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2013.
