Today our country is passing through an era of women's empowerment. National Human Rights Commission, National Women's Commission, Child Welfare Committee, National Child Rights Protection Commission, and Women's Commission of all states and political parties and don't know how many organizations are made globally - for women.
Crores and crores of rupees are being spent by the public on the tusks of these elephants. The government and administration are shedding crocodile tears over the plight of women in Rajasthan alone. Girls are being sold for prostitution in the state at wholesale rates and the police-government administration feels as if Dhani-bhungadas are being sold.
Fill your stomach with files and complete your duty. Where can we find a stronger example of empowerment than this? I can only say on the basis of news published in Rajasthan Patrika that poor women in the state are considered as wooden structures only. They don't even have the right to live with respect, the Shraddha murder case alone exposed the kind of sensitive women working in the commission who talk big.
The sensitivity of the police also came to the fore in this incident. Perhaps this information has not reached the public - everyone is silent. Political parties are considering it a personal incident. Women are not the subject of contemplation. A similar murder has also happened in Udaipur. Bullets were fired at Anjali only yesterday (on Wednesday).
There was a time when people used to agitate when the price of petrol was increased by ten paise. Employees' organizations were known for social movements. Today the status of these women is not even ten paise. Be it the incident of chain snatching from the neck of the woman or any other incident, the male class also remains a spectacle.
On October 27, news appeared that the National Human Rights Commission had asked for a report from the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police.
Girls aged 8 to 18 are sold in half a dozen districts. They are forced into prostitution. They are auctioned for 6 to 8 lakh rupees. It is a bigger surprise that panchayats issue orders. On refusing, their mothers are raped as punishment. The nectar festival of democracy is happening.
In Bhilwara, the 12-year-old daughter was sold to repay the loan. If the loan was not repaid, the other five daughters were mortgaged. In another case, the daughter was sold thrice, and became pregnant four times. The Chief Minister was told that the matter is three years old - Sir. File closed.
It can be seen that there is so much pain in their hearts for Mother India. How committed are you to women's empowerment? And they are public servants and representatives. The Chief Secretary of the state is also Usha Sharma. The Chief Minister herself was a woman in the previous government.
