Chanakya's residence was a hut outside the city, seeing which Chinese historical traveler Fahien said - "The prime minister of such a vast country lives in such a hut!"  

The residents of the country live in grand buildings and the general public of the country whose prime minister resides in the palaces lives in huts." On one side of Chanakya's hut, a stone was lying to break the cow dung cakes, on the other hand.  There used to be a heap of Kusha brought by the disciples.  Samidhas were put on the roof to dry, due to which the roof was bent down.  

Such a dilapidated hut was the residence of Chanakya.  Ahh!  Why would that country not be great whose Prime Minister is so honest, aware, rich in character, and dutiful?  People are stunned by these expressions.  Seeing this scene, all the sensitive strings of the veena of our mind get jumbled together.

Don't be a giver, don't encroach on him with tax burden in the name of long and elaborate schemes.  The national welfare schemes should be run only after saving from the state expenditure.  

The oppression of the subjects is to wage a long-drawn plan on the trust of the remaining subjects by giving the admissible share of the king.  Chanakya's literature is a storehouse of knowledge teaching peace, justice, good education, all-around, and progress in society.  It is the responsibility of political education to teach human society the three functions of the state, operation, and protection of the nation.  

It is the misfortune of India that by ignoring the knowledge of Chanakya and inviting domestic and foreign enemies to attack, he has adopted the demonic teachings that make him a helpless hunt for his enemies.  Moral education, religion-education have disappeared.  Character building is deprecated.  Only the clerk (clerk) is the producing, principles, and pet-keeping education.  Society is slowly taking a demonic form. 

 Meaning - The slave neglects honor or self-pride.  The self-confidence is being crushed.  In today's selfish, pure selfish political scenario immersed in the darkness of ignorance, only the knowledge of Chanakya has the potential to become the guiding light of India.  He alone can show us the path of political, social, and spiritual liberation.  

Today's faulty national situation is due to this present mal-education.  The national spirit, national interest, and ideals of Manu have disappeared today.  Egoist knowledge prevails.  The cultural nature has been destroyed.  The selfless service is gone.  A sense of supremacy makes politicians greedy.  

Chanakya's political concern - India can be saved only by incorporating the current, with the development of the understanding of politics from its study - there are enough possibilities for the proper development of a well-mannered, virtuous, virtuous pious, and hardworking human being in the person. That is why this proverb is relevant even today.
