Similarly, there is a great need today to understand the importance of climate-proof infrastructure in hilly and coastal areas with delicate ecology.  According to the World Bank, a dollar invested in a climate-proof infrastructure can yield as much as $4.  A community radio station 'Mandakini ki Awaaz' in Rudraprayag district in Uttarakhand has become a valuable link between the government and communities to increase the effectiveness of the alert system.

Its operators keep in regular contact with the State Disaster Management Authority and India Meteorological Department, Dehradun to know accurate and updated weather information and early warnings.  Such efforts across the country can help save lives and livelihoods.  Fourth, to educate and enable different communities to adopt nature-based measures.

many communities first Use natural-based measures to avoid climate-induced disasters.  For example, 10 self-help groups in Gandhara village of Puri district in Odisha are regrowing beach casuarina forests to mitigate the effects of cyclones and seawater ingress.  A large part of this forest was destroyed in the super cyclone.

The villagers believe that if this forest was not there, they would not have been able to escape from the effects of the cyclone.  Therefore, communities with the help of local authorities should prioritize restoring natural ecosystems such as mangrove forests and wetlands, to enable them to withstand climate-induced shocks.

As India is now going to preside over the G20, such a decentralized model is.  Promoting it can establish India's leading leadership in climate adaptation.  Activities along with Mission Life can be a lesson to the world from India in developing 'Climate-Resilience' based on a 'bottom-up approach.

2 Guru Nanak Dev:- The idol of sacrifice and goodwill. part 2

……………be continuous

Courage is the embellishment of virtue and goodwill is the mark of virtue.  Saint Guru Nanak Dev, on the strength of virtue, courageously rejected the offer of drinking from Emperor Babur and also rejected his gifts of gold and silver.  It was only the courage of a virtuous personality like Saint Guru Nanak Dev that he took a promise from Babur not to kill cows.

This happened to be the proof that courage was full of courage in Saint Guru Nanak Dev.  That's why he spoke unequivocally to Babur.  Saint Guru Nanak Dev said to the Muslims, 'Make noble' deeds your Kaaba.  Make truth and honesty your peer.  Think of charity as Kalama.  Accept the will of God as your tasbeeh (japamala), then God will keep your shame.

’ He said to the Hindus, ‘Get me such a yajnopaveet that can go with me to the hereafter.  The cotton of this Yagyopaveet is mercy, the yarn is contentment, the knot is restraint and the pure is the virtue of sattva.  Such a yagyapoveet will not break, will not burn, will not get dirty, will not be destroyed.  This means that Guru Nanak Dev considered virtue first and foremost.
