Hi,
I hope everyone is safe and healthy.
I like to share my first interview experience. As I'm studying for my final year (6th sem), I started searching for jobs. I created accounts on job websites like LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, etc… I applied for the job in few companies, which was related to my profile.
I don't like to mention the company's name, I'll use it as ABC company.
I got a mail from ABC company for an interview, which was on the next day itself. When I saw the mail, I was surprised, and still, I need to be prepared for the interview. Even, the mail came in the morning but I saw it in the evening and the printout of the document was not there with me.
So Later, I edited my resume clearly and kept my documents organized. I was not having the perfect file to carry to the office, so I went out with my dad to purchase a file and to take some printouts of the documents. Then I kept my documents in file accordingly. And started preparing for aptitude, interview questions…
On interview day, I was so excited and nervous. I was not knowing the place so I took my dad with me. After reaching there, my dad went out for his work, then for security and safety purposes we followed covid-19 protocols and then entered the office premises. I and other people were waiting in the room, later some employee came and took our resumes. They shifted us to another room and again we waited for a while.
Then, they called everyone outside and made us sit according to our resume number. I went on time for the interview but also there were many of them if I count my number it will come around 17th place. There I met one girl, her interview was before me around 8th or 9th place I asked her “how was the interview ? ” she told me that don't worry, it is easy only. Then I got some confidence.
But, due to more people are attending an interview one more interviewer was added. The new one took my Interview, he was very friendly and just asked few questions just it was like “ Tell me about yourself ”, “ What is your family background ”, “ Tell me about your qualification ”, etc...
After, completing he told me to meet HR. Then I met her told me that I have selected for the second round and even she discussed the office shifts & salary package. Then, later I told her that I'm still studying final year, so she told me that I was selected but due to not completed my studies, she told me to meet them once again after my studies were complete.
I told to my Dad what had happened, then he told me “ it's better you search job after your education now you just concentrate on your studies”. Even I thought that's a good idea and came back home.
This was my First-Ever Interview experience…
