We are a family of 1,393,409,038. The most populous democracy in the world is our country INDIA. At the time of independence in 1947 we were 361,088,090. We have waved a long path during these years(1947-2021).
Question arises this extended family acts as a pillar for us OR this have become our weakness?
India ranked at 131st position out of 189 countries with an HDI ( Human Development Index) value of 0.645. HDI value more than 0.800 is considered very high,i.e. we are too far to achieve that.
As we have more strength because we have more youth infact talented youth but when it comes to curb the population we always lag behind. Each and every person in India talks about lack of resources and further more uneven distribution of resources but everyone dares to talk about the rapidly growing population. But the crux is due to this huge population we are facing lots of crisis. Likewise in Today's COVID scenario the situation is worst here. Although much more vaccinations have been done here than many countries but still we have to cover a huge lot.
We need to understand that as a large population we should be each other's helping hand or you can say we must fight any disease or war unitedly but all comes to zero when situation actually comes.
Here,Rich is becoming richer than today poor is becoming poorer. We should try to fill the gap. Atleast we can do our part.
What if we were united? What if we followed family plans accordingly. Wait! I forgot one thing. How could we follow family planning. It's Secular India. If we talk about population control then comes a fight of religion amongst us. And this fight takes a hilarious shape and size of varieties in each and every state. Then comes the role of politicians, they also mould the situation as per their propoganda,so that their votebank remain safe.
We have to accept the fact, whereas various languages, religions etc demarcate our strong culture ,same ways we have different opinions too.
We have so many people around us who have come forward to culminate the situation.. they are not leaving any stone unturned to overcome the COVID crisis but we all should use the available resources wisely so that we can grow as a nation.
