Covid Pandemic : The Positives

Looking back at 31st December 2019, when the first case was reported in China, the world as we know it has changed drastically. Lives have been lost, economies have collapsed and the thought process has been taken on one hell of a ride. Now what you might have been guessing is what are the positives one can draw from such a pandemic. There have always been two sides to a coin, positive and negatives, it depends on us as to what side we are taking into perspective.

So without further wait let's dig deep into the positive aspects :

1.)Being with family is important

Before the pandemic started many people( we are talking in millions) lived away from their families. The reasons were many but during the pandemic, many families came together to pool their resources and support each other to fight the pandemic, which in turn made many people wonder as to what drove them away.

2.)Money is not everything

As it has become abundantly clear that Covid does not differentiate whether you are rich or poor, powerful or weak. So money is not everything, it is important, agreed, but now that people have to choose between being alive and earning money, they are choosing wisely.

3.)Sanitization is important

For a country that gained freedom in 1947, sanitization ads still have to be played on national television to make people aware is disturbing, to say the least. Sanitization was not on our priority list, but the pandemic had other plans, people are now more aware and have been forced to follow sanitization norms. This in turn has helped them to a much better lifestyle form for the foreseeable future.

4.)Help others whenever and however possible

One of the most important things that the pandemic has taught us is helping people in need. The spirit of the people of all the countries has been tested to the extreme and the fabric of humanity evolved. People who were blessed with resources came out to help people who required resources, this manifested a special bond between people, something which was beyond caste, color, religion and societal status.

5.)Shift towards a healthy lifestyle

When the pandemic started the prime focus was on building immunity, so people started eating healthy food to boost immunity and stay healthy, over a period of more than a year many people applied that healthy lifestyle as a matter of choice. This was clearly put to test during the second wave which subsided recently, and if the percentage of the population infected and cured was taken into account, humanity survived.

6.)Hobbies

In continuation to the above topic, a considerable portion of the population started doing some sort of exercise/meditation. It started when the country went on lockdown for over three months, people got bored sitting and finishing all that was there to watch, they desperately needed something to divert their mind and energy. So people picked up on exercising, cooking, learning new things, starting a new hobby, or continuing the forgotten/buried hobby. On a lighter note, they started making Instagram reels, youtube shorts, MX takatak , Moj videos which are utterly cringeworthy and a pain in the ass.

This article pays tribute to people who fought and lost their lives to the pandemic, praying that their soul rests in peace. At crazedamazed we respect views and opinions of everyone, many points have been deliberately missed .This article just showcases some of the positives that crazedamazed could draw out of bunch of entries.Thank you for reading .
