"The Journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." and it is you who has to take the first step, no one else is going to do it for you. Travel because, “ Your money will return.Your time won't.”

So with this let's roll to another 5 wonders of mother nature:

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

In the last three blogs we have traversed through various countries, for now, let's head to Hunan Province in China. With an area of 11,900 acres, the national park is the first in China and was recognized in 1982. The most noticeable feature is pillar-like formations.

One of the many quartz sandstone pillars, the one with an astonishing height of 1,080 meters was officially renamed “Avatar Hallelujah Mountain” in the honor of movie Avatar. So if you have seen Avatar you can now begin to imagine where the scenic beauty came from.

Northern Lights

Northern lights are one of the more famous ones and you probably know about them already. They have been extensively portrayed seen, filmed, and talked about. They are also known as “Aurora Borealis(literally meaning: the dawn)”. They are beautifully dancing waves of light, they look beautiful, calming but when you look at it scientifically it is a rather violent event, but for now, let's enjoy the beauty of it and not go deeper than we need to.

The Northern Lights are visible from Norway.

Great Barrier Reef

World's largest coral reef system is located off the east coast of Queensland, Australia. They are composed of over 2900 individual reefs and 900 islands.

The total area covered by them is over 2300 kilometers. The Great Barrier Reef is visible from space and it is the biggest single structure made by living organisms.

Antarctica

Antarctica is the 5th largest continent in the world when it comes to the area but is 7th when it comes to being populated. It is only civilized by scientists, because of its harsh, otherworldly nature which is not suitable for any kind of human life. Antarctica is the coldest, driest and windiest continent.

Due to its rich and well-preserved biodiversity, it is also known as Earth's Freezer. Scientists have found many well-preserved viruses and single-celled organisms that have adapted to the harsh nature and are billions of years old.

Mount Bromo

Mount Bromo is an active volcano and is located in Indonesia and Java. The name Bromo comes from the Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation. Due to its active volcanic nature, it has been developed as a popular tourist attraction. Though you need not worry because the Indonesian Center for Volcanology issues warning as to when you should not visit.

The latest eruptions happened in 2015, though various instances of eruptions that are small in nature are not recorded or divulged to the general public.

As a famous quote says, “Don't be that person who is too busy when you are young and then too tired when you are old, travel makes you realize that no matter how much you know, there's always more to learn.”

This is the fourth and the second last part of the series, if you found it informative and it helped you learn something new, do not forget to like and also follow for more amazing content.
