The vampire diaries is a TV series inspired by a novel named same writen by LJ Smith .Damon Salvatore is one of the main characters played in this fictional show.Damon Salvatore is a fictional character played by Ian Somerhalder in LJ Smith novel series THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.
If u ever watched or heard about the vampire diaries you must surely know about Damon. He is the most wittiest character in the show played by the most handsome Ian Somerhalder . He literally takes away the spotlight with his humor or to be more specific with his dark humor and not to forget with his breathtaking charm . Initial in the pilot episode Damon is depicted as a crow yes you read it right A crow. That follows Stefan and Elena everywhere and represents Damon's arrival in his life again.
There are several other characters that catch your attention throughout the show but Damon never fails to impress you . You will keep wondering how someone can be so funny and dangerous at the same time . His Portyal as crow dosent continue for more than a episode . There is no accurate explanation as in why there is a crow in the show and why Damon is shown as one but it's for us to imagine accordingly. Writers leave it up to our creative imaginations . So go ahead and get as creative as you can. And according to me I think vampires can convert themselves to animals or birds . But this particular thing is no where to be seen in the future episodes. So !! Keep thinking
His famous line " hello brother " caught audiences attention . The way he says it and the smirky smile is to die for. And personally this is the exact moment where I fell for him. This is also seen in the last scene of the show . The show literally ends with hello brother leaving us all in tears .no spoilers so can't break it down completely.
Since Stefen doesn't have room for humor Damon does most of it . But once in a while Stefan also got some random quirk lines.
Ohhh that smirk damon does all these evil activities and then just doesn't care .
His puns about death never get old….and there are tons of them
Ok now this one's a serious one when Damon kisses Elena when she is with Stefen this makes him mad but turns out its Katherine. But the fact that Damon would do that kinda through's him off .

The show has total of 8 seasons but you will never get bored to watch it even for million times. Most Popular show and how can I not mention the amazing cast who are extremely talented and beautiful .
Over all THE VAMPIRE DIARIES has a special place in the heart of all it's viewers and fans and makes everyone fall in love with the show. I totally suggest you all to watching the show this will keep you on the edge of your seats all the times. Each season has new twist and turns with several new characters . With every season your favourite characters lists is gonna keep adding up .The heart rips , chase , hunts and also the million times each character dies and comes back to life never gets old.
