In current times, financial independence of every individual has become a necessity whether it is in private or public sector. Especially for women. Many individuals have lost their jobs as the companies were not able to pay them due to the current covid period. It will take at least a year or so for the life to get back on track. It is in these unpredictable times, if a woman is earning in a family, life becomes bit easy to take care every day small expenses. 

There are many other advantages of being financially independent for a woman that are listed below :-

Being financially independent helps a woman not to be dependent on anyone for anything. She can take care of her and her expenses, keeping a track of where the money has been spent and how much of the savings she is required to do. She can also help her family for getting the groceries and other kind of related stuff. 

Being financially independent can help you face any problem more efficiently. God forbidden, if someone is not well in the family and both man and woman are earning so it doesn't seem a burden for one person. 

When a girl and guy are out on a date, a girl can also pay for the coffee and if they agree can go for dutch too. Of course, nowhere is written that a guy has to take care of the expenses when he is out on a date with any girl :) 

When you are financially independent, you can use the money for your travelling too which in itself is a stress buster as mentioned by me in my earlier blog. 

When a woman can take care of her finances, it boost her confidence and morale. It increases her self respect and they are able to deal with any kind of problems in their life. 

If a woman is financially independent, she can take care of her family and her kids if she gets divorced due to any reason. She is not dependent on her ex-husband for providing quality life to her children and meeting their requirements. Many girls are from conservative backgrounds and they are taught that no matter what, she has to be with her husband once she is married irrespective of whether that person is treating her rightly or not. Financial independence allows you to move out of that toxic and abusive relationship and think, concentrate on yourself.

In the end the important thing is that it doesn't matter whether you are married, divorced, widowed or single, being financial independent is the need of the hour.
