GENERAL ELECTRIC DRIVE SYSTEM

Systems employed for stir control are called DRIVES and may employ any of the high carriers analogous as, diesel or petrol machines, gas or reek turbines, reek machines, hydraulic motors and electric motors are known as ELECTRICAL DRIVES.

Low and medium power motors are fed from 400v force. For advanced conditions, motor may be rated at3.3 KV,6.6 kv,11 kv. Some drives are powered from a battery, battery voltage may have 24v, 48v and 110v dc. seeing UNIT 1. Speed seeing 2. Current seeing speed seeing is needed for perpetration of unrestricted circle speed control schemes. Speed is generally tasted by using tachometers. When veritably high speed rigor are needed as in computer supplemental and paper manufactoriesetc., digital tachometers are used. Two generally used styles of seeing the current are 1. use of current detector employing hall effect 2. Involves the use fa a non- inductive resistance shunt in confluence with an insulation amplifier which has as arrangement for an modification and insulation between power and control circuits.
