Barcelona after going trophyless for a season, are back on track for winning the domestic double. As we know, in past few weeks Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are dropping points, Barcelona now have a huge chance to win the la liga title under Ronaldo Koeman. After winning 1-2 against Villarreal yesterday, Barcelona are now only 2 points off the first place, if they win their match against Granada at home, Barcelona can top the table. Now, in upcoming matches, Messi, Griezmann, De jong and Mingueza need to be careful with their tackles since they are on 4 yellow cards, a fifth yellow card will lead to suspension, at this stage, Barcelona can't afford to lose these players in any of the upcoming matches. Matchday 35 in la liga would be decisive as Barcelona will be playing at home against Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will be playing at home against Sevilla.

Current La Liga table: (TOP 4)

1.Atletico Madrid (73 points)

2.Real Madrid (71 points)

3.Barcelona (71 points) [with one game in hand]

4. Sevilla (70 points)

After looking at the table, it is clear that La Liga title race is still wide open, Sevilla are also only 3 points off the top of the table. Although, if Barcelona win all of their remaining 6 matches, they will be crowned champions. Ronald Koeman has breathed life into Barcelona's side, Koeman showing faith in youngsters is the big reason behind his success, Mingueza, Pedri, Moriba, Fati, Araujo are some of the rising stars for Barcelona this season. Also, Alejandro Balde and Alex Collado from Barca B are going to be promoted next season to first team. Barcelona is well known for producing some of the finest talents in the world. With Joan Laporta elected as president, La Masia is going to be the core of the project. Currently, Messi is the top scorer of La Liga with 25 goals followed by Benzema at 2nd position with 21 goals. Messi has been a standout Player for Barcelona this season (Imagine my shock😂). After the first leg defeat against PSG, Koeman changed the formation to 352 which is working like heaven for Barcelona. A back three consisting of Lenglet, Pique and Mingueza is working well and good for Barcelona. We have seen a drop in performance of Pedri and obvious reason behind it is EXHAUSTION. Pedri has started almost every match since joining the Blaugrana. With Riqui Puig, Illaix Moriba on the bench, I think Koeman should rest Pedri for a match or so and give Puig his well deserved minutes.
