As mentioned in the  title, today's topic is on Artificial Intelligence ..

we all know the term  "artificial intelligence” very well ,as we are listening this word repeatedly every where nowadays…day by day  technology is increasing rapidly. nowadays every where we can see computers.. there usage is increasing . but computers have a limitation that it can not think on it's own or can not learn from its experiences.. So, now what is artificial intelligence(AI)??

In simple words Artificial intelligence(Ai) is a way of making a computer, robot or software think and act like a human.

where is this AI actually used.?

let's talk about  daily life applications.

we get recommendations in youtube after watching few videos..it gives us recommendations based on the videos we usually watch or which we  recently watched..so this is based on Ai only  and face recognitions.. face locks etc are the applications of AI ..i think many of you already knew it.

So who is the father of AI ?

   John Mc carthy is known as the “father of AI” due to his contribution in the field of Computer science and AI.

So, present AI is actually known as “narrow AI ”[or weak AI] it performs only specific or narrow task [like face recognitions etc..]

The long term goal of all scientists and researchers is  to create general AI(AGI) Artificial general intelligence or strong AI..

so,1st let's see what are the types of AI??

there are three types of AI..

1.Artificial Narrow Intelligence or ANI.

         has narrow range of abilities..

2.Artificial General Intelligence or AGI.

      has capabilities as in humans..

3.Artificial Super Intelligence or ASI.

      has capability more than that of humans..

WHEN WAS THIS AI 1ST INVENTED ??

  It was formally founded in 1956 at a conference at Dartmouth College ,in Hanover ,New Hampshire.

we have many advantages of AI ..we can say that our future is with AI..AI plays a very important role in future..

but ,few people strongly believe that increase in usage of AI leads to many problems for humankind.. yes, its true!!! we will discuss this further in our blog..

we can see two popular AI assistants SIRI AND ALEXA..

Now let's know about latest AI robots.

 The 1st human-like robot, “SOPHIA” ..I think you all already heard about this robot .it is the Hanson Robotics advanced robot. This robot got citizenship in Saudi Arabia .

The Humanoid robot “AMECA” is the worlds most advanced human shaped robot ,it also reacts to  a human waving finger. ..you can clear video of it in youtube.

Another example, “DEEP BLUE”  was an example of explainable AI ,which beat World Championship in 2021.It was a chess playing expert system run on a unique purpose-built IBM Super computer…it won World championship in chess. how many of you knew this..??

SO, These are  some latest AI based robots .

now what are the disadvantages and the question arises that..

why AI is threatening ..??
