Like the good old saying, “Education cannot teach you as much as a travel experience can”. Those who travelled at least once will agree with this, isn't it? You will learn how to live in an unfamiliar society, Like an infant, we will enjoy every new visual in front of our eyes with a cheer on our face, Yes, the cheer of excitement will get reflected from the place to your face. These all are the sweet process of a journey.
Like all other folks, I also love this whole process of a journey, to enjoy the novelty of something new like the smell of a new book or a beautiful rain after a good summer. But till 2019 I have never made a big trip except for some small ones. During my college days, I had a great desire to visit Himalayas even though I knew it would be a big challenge for me. I cannot go straight and ask my family for the cash to fulfil my dream in between those days of studies. So I kept the dream within me, when it pops up from my mind occasionally I used to close that by clicking on the ‘X’ mark of reality, this process continued till I saw the movie Kedarnath on 2018 after that it popped regularly rather than of occasional. And Yes, This movie was one of the biggest factors of my 1st long journey, thank you from the bottom of my heart late Sushant Singh and the entire team.
I was working at cochin when I saw the movie and yes now I have the confidence to fulfil my dream. I shared this with my close friend Subin and without any second thought he said: “Yes, We can go”. So we made a rough plan for the trip. We started saving a portion of our salary and finally, we succeed to collect enough. We both researched a lot about the trails and the location, from that got a suggestion that September to November season is the best to visit Kedarnath to enjoy the snowfall. We selected October for the visit and thanks to my Director, he approved our leave application. Now we are ready to start our journey to our dreamland. For the budget-friendly trip, we booked the sleeper class tickets from Cochin to New Delhi.
We started our preparation for the trip.
Will continue…
