Now a days we have electronic media just like App, News channels, YouTube channels ,etc in which we cannot only read news but also we can listen and watch live  news . So it is worth it to read newspaper.?

Presently,  Newspaper have 16 to 24 pages in which many pages just have ADVERTISEMENTS and the News we read in newspaper, printed about yesterday event / news , which we already read or watched or listened on different online platforms like YouTube channel, TV channel, Instagram and Facebook, etc. “”So what do you think it is worthy to read newspaper?""

I will give you ,my opinion on this question but before that , some facts / information about Indian newspaper 

• In India daily newspaper print in 100 different languages in which 22 are official languages like Hindi, English, Telgu, marathi, etc and other 88 are local languages. 

• India has 2nd biggest market of Newspaper in the world. So you can see how many jobs depend on Newspaper. 

• Newspaper give National and International  news and also increase our general knowledge. 

• News paper have different segments like financial, economical, sports,Entertainment ,etc.

•Newspaper gives you information about local area like your city  in which you are living presently,  newspaper give you so much information and news about your city. Which online or electronic media doesn't gives.

Most of  the time electronic media covers news on national and international issue. But Newspaper also cover your local area . If you read newspaper daily then you know your city better because newspaper try to cover whole city. 

Newspaper also gives spotlight on LOCAL HERO for example Newspaper tells you about  District topper,  if Someone do good work in favour of city newspaper cover that story, District sport winner ,etc.

As Students perspective 

•If you are student of competitive Exam then you know ,how much newspaper is important for you. Because it cover one important subject “ General knowledge” which is asked in every Exam.

• If you want to learn new Languages  like English then your 1st step is to Read English Newspaper daily.

• Newspaper also help you increase your VOCABULARY 

•You can find “” Advertisement of JOB “” in newspaper.

•Newspaper also entertains us and increases puzzle/ problem solving ability by giving different game like SUDOKU, ARRANGING WORDS,  FIND 10 DIFFERENCES, etc.

• Newspaper help you to get READING HABIT. which is very important to students because now a days mostly students don't like to read a books.

So I think,  yes ,it is worthy to read newspaper.  

Because it gives you information about local , national and international issues And also information about sport, job opportunities, Entertainment, stock markets, economy, etc.It help you to get reading habit. And mostly important it give job to many people.
