There is a saying that ‘ignorance is a bliss’ however, sometimes we ignore the little energies and vibrations around us which moves the situations from good to worst or from bad to a successful situation. What we think manifests into reality and paying close attention to thoughts is the tip of the iceberg. This can be the most significant factor how situations change for better or worst. Once we pay close attention to our current situation, make an effort to focus on the thoughts and the energy we emit, we start to feel the power of the guidance.
Are there some simple techniques for us to cleanse our thoughts? The answer is yes.
Gratitude is one of the biggest thoughts cleanser. There is no age to adapt this as a morning ritual. As we wish each other ‘good morning’, a daily habit of thanking and remembering all that we are thankful for, is certainly one of the simple ways to start the day with positive energy. Gratitude is a much deeper topic and covered in many other articles with more depth and focus that it deserves.
Listening to understand and not to respond is yet another thought cleanser. Not a common practice, most commonly noted in communication skills lessons. Stephen Covey's one of the 7 habits of highly effective people quotes- Seek to Understand, then to be Understood- This is powerful as we stop overthinking, assuming, and rely on facts shared, ask relevant questions to attempt to understand fully, comprehend and respond to the situation after critical thinking.
Patience and self assessment- Assessing our own thoughts, gives us a subconscious level of perspective of retrospection how we think about others and more importantly how we think of ourselves. Deep and takes time to reach to this level of focused thinking however, very powerful and more assured pattern of change can be achieved by doing this. Since we started with gratitude as the first point, carefully combining gratitude and self assessment will elevate the experience, build stronger thoughts of positivity, give us the strength to accept self and others, be humble and continue to adapt to keep repeating this for improving the quality of life.
Start small but be consistent in making a change. This is worth a try and see your goals turning into reality. Beware of negative thoughts and stay positive. I hope you have enjoyed reading this blog.
