Easily one of the best Tamil movies I've ever seen. One of the best craftsmen and a jewel of a filmmaker is Arun Matheswaran. His writing is excellent, and I always like reading his story in chapters. A visual marvel with excellent cinematography. Stunts sequence are fantastic. The movie is action-packed.
Dhanush's subsequent achievement. Excellent portrayal that flawlessly embodied his role, complete with character transitions. He is the Captain Miller's only one. Throughout the movie, Shivanna and Sundeep also made outstanding cameos that produced breathtaking moments. Elango, Priyanka Mohan, Niveditha, John Kokken, Kali Venkat, and the entire acting team did an amazing job. The foundation of the film is the music by GV. The songs from BGM are classics, and the play was a blast. The song "Koranar" keeps playing.
The film was well-structured, with ideas discussing the greater evil in the first part. The second part of it was action-packed. It was amazing to see Dhanush turn from being a British supporter because to repression to being anti-British.
GV Prakash's BGM continuously captivates. There were a few really great scenes, like the one where Dhanush declares he is the devil and Sundeep Kishan comes back.
The addition of a song and dance in the second half caused some little gaps. It annoys me to watch John Kokken because of his excessive acting, not the part.
All things considered, I like the film because of its direction, camera work, acting, and—above all—music.
Without a doubt the best action film I have ever seen in Tamil.
Reviews for Dhanush's much anticipated flick Captain Miller are positive from both reviewers and viewers. The most anticipated Sankranti/Pongal 2024 release was perhaps the eagerly awaited historical action movie starring Rocky star Arun Matheswaran. Aside from the Karnan actor, the ensemble of Captain Miller is as exciting, with important roles played by Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan, Vinoth Kishan, Nassar, and many more.
Positive reactions to Captain Miller have been seen on social media from its initial reviews. "Solid story and conflicts, characters are well established, good dialogues & great visuals...Interval chase sequence ws too gud on par with Hollywood standards, ends with a little twist," according to a tweet.
Dhanush is a fiery actor who plays a young soldier with aspirations of becoming a vigilante and then leading his community in a rebellion against the British and the local ruler.
A young man from a marginalized caste named Eesa (Dhanush) enlists in the British army. He wants to be treated with respect and be emancipated from the prejudice the king of his province is applying to him. The temple that Eesa and his village mates constructed is closed to them. They are also thought to be undeserving of shoes. In an attempt to wear shoes as part of the uniform, he enlists in the military. He takes up the name Miller after joining them. His goal is to improve his own lot in life.
