My Vaccination Experience And Precautions To Be Taken.

I was very scared about the side effects and ofcourse the needle.

I am a dental student so I just had to get a letter from college and my aadhar card.I went to the government hospital with the required documents, they verified it and asked me to sit on the vaccination chair, the nurse held my arm and injected the vaccine and honestly it didnt pain at all. Then i went to the observation room, there they checked my oxygen saturation and asked if i was having any symptoms like dizziness. They asked us to sit there for 30 minutes and then leave.

I didnt have any kind of pain or weakness till now.On the way home I bought ice cream.Had lunch. There was no loss of apetite. Then I took the paracetamol given from the hospital after lunch.Everything was okay till evening.

My body started showing symptoms after dinner.I started feeling weak and feverish. So I took dolo after dinner but still the symptoms became worst I was shivering all night and body ache was accompanied with arm ache.Next morning the fever was still there and I also had vomiting sensation. My parents gave me an anti vomit tablet and then I had an aloo paratha with tea. Then I had to get tested for rapid antigen test because a negative report is mandatory for attending college. The lab technician came and took my nose swab as soon as he inserted that stick in my nose I started sneezing continously he was very scared because he though I was covid positive, but then my father told him that it was just required for college. He tested and the report was negative.

The fever persisted all day eventhough I was sleeping throughout the day.I had a dolo after breakfast and one after dinner. And the next morning I was absolutely okay.

The advice I would like to give is that dont take the paracetamol given by the hospital instead take a dolo 650 mg on the day of vaccination one after lunch and one after dinner. And before going for getting vaccinated have an antacid in the morning empty stomach.I had taken Rabinir.I took the paracetamol given by hospital and I had fever and other symptoms. My father had taken dolo and he is alright by gods grace he just has an arm ache.

I am not a medical expert so please consult your family doctor or any doctor before replacing the paracetamol. You can even ask the person distributing medicine at the vaccination centre.
