How To Practice The Art Of Finding Joy In Little Things?

Have you ever wondered why some people appear happy almost all the time, regardless of their circumstances? They seem to have a grace and thankfulness about life that many of us don't comprehend, even when challenges arise. They have learned to appreciate life's small pleasures, which is one of the reasons they are able to weather difficult times with such gratitude. And this, in my opinion, is the secret to happiness.    

 Life can be difficult at times. It presents us with difficulties that we are not always prepared to handle. There may seem to be no way out when we are in the thick of things. But there is always hope, even in the worst of circumstances. Happiness can constantly be discovered in life's little moments. 

 We are better equipped to handle the challenges and hardships that life unavoidably presents when we can find happiness and purpose in the little things. Additionally, this exercise can lessen stress and increase pleasure and well-being. The ability to find joy in the simple things may be cultivated through time. To completely enjoy the little joys that life has to give, it entails establishing an attitude of gratitude, and awareness, and being present at the moment.    

You may practise finding joy in little things in the following ways:

Enjoy simple pleasures✨:                                             Start focusing on small moments of joy -the actions , sensations and moments that we experience, feel and do every day, often without taking notice -that can lead to an unequivocal amount of joy. These simple pleasures are most unassuming experiences , we taken for granted .But if we pause for one moment to reflect on them, relish them, embrace them , there is so much of happiness you can find in a single day! 

Maintain diary📝:                                                                Each day, write down three things you are grateful for, no matter how small they may seem. Make a note of things that make u happy . This practice helps you to remember a good event, experience, person or thing in your life -then enjoy the good emotions that come with it . Thus it helps you focus on the positive aspects of your life. 

Give a compliment🤗:                                                        Take a moment to fully appreciate the beauty that surrounds you. Giving compliment to a stranger can have a big impact on your happiness.Not only will the other person feel good about being acknowledged, but also you will feel good too.

Spend time with loved ones ❤️:                                Building close relationship with friends and family can bring a sense of joy. Spending quality time with friends can help to create a happy environment. 

Connect with your inner child👶 :                          It is a reconnection with the subconscious part of yourself  to experience the joy of life.  Playing favourite childhood games , read a picture book, paint something, dance in the rain - these activities can help to connect with your inner child .

Do something you love 🌸:                                           Take the time to do the things you love. Doing something you enjoy each day will give you a stronger appreciation for life and enable you to face the difficult tasks that come your way.

Self appreciations👏:                                                        Don’t forget to extend the attitude of thankfulness to yourself. Compliment yourself for the smallest accomplishments or efforts.You work hard, you have good intentions, and you make a positive impact on the people around you!
