A plant is living that grows on the earth.Green plants produce energy for all organisms.They produce oxygen that helps us in the process of breathing and is essential for the survival of life.Plants absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.So we should plant more trees.Trees and plants give us fresh air to breath.

The seeds of most plants grow into new plants.The process by which living things produce their own kind is called reproduction.The seeds germinate to form plants of same kind.When the seeds receives suitable condition for its growth in develops into a baby plant.When the fruits ripens, the seeds are ready to be sown.New plants grow from not only seeds but also other parts of the plant such as stems,leaves and roots.

Seeds germinate in fertile soil under favorable conditions.Germination begins when  the water  enters the seeds.Water makes the seeds soft.Air provides oxygen for seeds to breath.Plants act as natural air purifiers, filtering out pollutants and enhancing the quality of the air  we breathe..The root grows out first.The roots grow downwards in soil.All seeds do not grow into plants.Several methods are used to grow new plants.When a part stem is cut and planted in the soil, a new plant grows from it.Plants need air,water,sunlight and soil to grow.

Plants make their own food.It also used for most medical purposes.Plants are found in all known parts of earth.They are an essential part of our lives providing food and air.The essential foods produced by plants are carbohydrates,fats and proteins.Plants have different parts that are used as food such as seeds,fruits,stems,roots ,leaves and flowers.These contains large of  amount nutrients.Plant's root also reduce soil erosion by holding top soil during rain.

Plants also play an important role in climate change.The level of carbon dioxide present in the air is high.Plants absorb carbon dioxide present in the air thereby reducing the heat level in the atmosphere.Several medicines are prepared from plants.Plants also regulate weather changes.It also block the heat from the sun and give shade.The process of scattering of seed is called dispersal of seeds.Wind,water,animal and human beings carryout seed dispersal.

Some plants reproduce from their leaves.Research has shown that people that live around nature feel much happier.They provide us with a variety of things to fulfill our daily requirements, including food to eat, air to breathe.Plants help reduce stress and create a feeling of well being.Plants are the primary producers, and all other living organisms on this planet depend on plants.
