The Ton of the Skipper : The spotlight was taken by captain Ruturaj Gaikwad, though, as he scored his second IPL century, 108* (60), with 12 fours and three sixes. The thrilling conclusion!
Whistles erupted as Thala Dhoni entered the field with just two balls remaining and Dube returning to the bench. As the final ball of the innings approached, Dhoni produced a trademark finish, smashing the ball to deep mid-wicket for a boundary and assisting the Super Kings in posting 210/4 in 20 overs.
The pursuit : In the process of chasing a massive mark, LSG lost Quinton de Kock for a duck early on thanks to Deepak Chahar. The LSG scorecard read 88/3 after that, thanks to much-needed breakthroughs from Mustafizur Rahman and Matheesha Pathirana.
