Today our topic is the rise of functional food. These foods are trending in today's unhealthy lifestyle. Because this type of food is very beneficial from a health point of view.

So let's start

In the olden days, food is just taken for energy and nutrition and the main focus was on a balanced diet. But now the food concept is changing and it has changed many effects.

Now we look at the food to provide health benefits. We want to take the food to weight control our body, the food should not have any chemical additives. We want fresh or minimum processed food with good shelf life which is free from harmful bacteria and requires minimum preparation at home. So the earlier concept of food which was ‘’eat to live'' is changing into ‘’eat for good looking and well being''.

These are designed to provide health benefits to consumers which inherent health benefits to Beyonce the nutrition, including the prevention of disease and the promotion of wellness through nutrition.

  • Iso flavones- it is present in soy. and it improves bone health and menopausal health.
  • soy protein- it is also present in soy and it reduces cholesterol.
