Many people travel to Chardham in Devbhoomi, Uttarakhand. It is in the Garowal region of Uttarakhand. The Kumaon region of Uttarakhand also has a few impossibly beautiful places. Today I will discuss about those beautiful places of Kumaon.

If you visit the Kumaon region or if you take a fairly popular route then I am creating an outline of where you will be .

Here's how to plan a tour:

1. Nainital - 2 nights
2. Kaushani- 1 night
3. Munsiyari- 2 nights
4. Chakauri / Patal Bhubaneswar- 1 night
5. Almora/koshi- 1 night

You can also visit this places in opposite way. This means you can visit Almora, Chakauri, Munsiyari, kaushani at first and Nainital at the end. With this you can add Jim Corbett(in this case you will not be on the same train and time will  increased by two or three more days).

This is a tour plan of 6 nights and 7 days. And also keep 3 more days for travel by train. There are two trains from Katra which will reach very close to Nainital.

Where to stay:

You will find KMVN's Tourist Rest House everywhere. And all the other hotels you can find by searching on google and you can also book by phone.

Daily Meals:

There is a little problem with food in Kumaon region, but you can have breakfast and dinner wherever you are staying. If you want to have lunch , you will find good restaurants in many places on the way from one place to another. The cost of food is not very high but not very cheap.

Vehicle:

Any type of vehicle is easily available from Lalkunya or Kathgudam railway station, so there is no need to take a car in advance. On the first day, take a car from the railway station to Nainital. Leave the car there . You will get a local car for 800/1000 rupees .Then rent a car from Nainital and keep the rest of the spots in the same car. It will cost average  2500/- rupees per day ( 7 seater car).

Tips:

1. must carry light food, chocolate, dry fruits, medicine etc for the long journey.
2. You must buy Balmithai
3. In Naiinital , you must ride a  rickshaw, buy a candle, go for boathing and  buy winter cloths.
4. There is no possibility of shortness of breath in any place except Munsiyari, so take precautions.

Cost:

A team of six people will have to spend a total of Rs. 16,000/17,000/- .
