Hello!! I hope you are all doing good. So today as read from the title my blog is about a simple yet complicated/controversial term "FEMINISM"
Starting off with defining what is feminism in very simple or layman's language it is equal rights for male and female both.
Very simple enough to understand right?? Yet there are many people in our society who do not completely understand the meaning of feminism. The basic misunderstanding people have is feminism is related to only female rights just because it has the word feminine in it. But in reality, it is equality for both.
There are many youngsters out there who call themselves a feminist. But the same guy who calls himself a feminist would expect her mom/sister to cook food and work in the kitchen. while the girls who call themselves a feminist will expect a guy to have a big house, nice car and lavish life, but she herself wouldn't have that potential. If writing feminist in your bio and using that word besides your name to look cool and fancy then you are not a feminist my friend.
There are several questions I would like to ask our society. Are there women getting EQUAL PAY at their jobs?, are men given first priority without using the phrase βLADIES FIRSTβ? Is it only women who are supposed to do household chores? Is it only men's will go to work and earn money for a living.
Men are always advised to study well and find a job or they won't get a girl to marry them. why aren't the same things said to girls? Why is it only the responsibility of a guy to go and earn. Or is it the mentality of people who thinks women are delicate and too sensitive to go out and earn?
These questions always disturb me. The work role should be equally divided between the two and not just follow the traditional method. In this modern era, no girl will get a big house, fancy car owner husband just like that and no guy will get ready hot food from their wife once home from work. We need to change this if a guy is working hard to get a nice life a woman has to contribute and if a woman is making food even after coming from work a man has to help her cook food. This small help will eventually make the workload shift a little from the person and eradicate the term inequality.
