Hello, and welcome back to my blog. I hope you are doing well and all healthy. So today I thought of sharing some vocabulary meanings that are not so commonly used or known. I learn a new word daily so I thought why not share it with you guys. After we all are bloggers and in hunt of new expressive words. so here we go…

 1. HAUGHTY: Arrogantly superior & disdainful.

A very uncommon word right even I have heard it for the first time but it is a very common behavior that we find in people. So we can use it in most of these situations.

2. GUILE: sly or cunning intelligence.

Amazing word to describe a quality right. You can suggest to someone use their guile to figure out something suspicious.

3. Optimistic: hopeful and confident.

Most of you must be knowing but yet some may not. this word basically gives more positive vibes. If someone you find is more confident and has a positive approach towards people and work that person is optimistic. And trust me in this difficult time we need more of such people.

4. Notorious: someone who is famous/well known for bad quality or deed.

I'm sure we all might be knowing someone who is titled with this word in our school days. 

5. Mitigate: make something less serve/serious/ painful.

You might have always given medicines by the doctor. ever wonder why it's because you can mitigate the pain. That's how simply the word is used.

6. Filthy: disgustingly dirty.

You may have come across many such filthy creatures in your life. 

7. Dejection: a sad or depressed state, low spirits, or vibes.

We all might have gone through this dejection phase once or more than once in our life. but don't be all low we throughout you have to be optimistic and keep going.

8. Bemused: confused/ puzzled.

when there is a variety of food I am bemused. haha, we all have been bemused so many times in our lifetime.

9. Relinquish: voluntarily cease to claim; give up

When someone gives up on their role voluntarily you can use this term.

He relinquished his 9-5 job for living his dream and following his passion.

10. Retrospect:  looking back

I retrospect to the good old days.
