For Indians respecting our elders have been a long time thing to be followed by the community people . We could not disregard anybody who were senior in age. There was no rules imposed to us but this was the normal following. 

But today things are changing to a great extent. Today we are no more interested to show respect to anybody just because of their age. 

Bow why this has come to play, lately?? What is the reason we are showing respect by peoples nature and behavior rather than the number of years they have lived on this earth??

Now this change did not take place just in one day. It took many years to built this thing in peoples mind. 

This is very true that we cannot show respect to anybody who is disrespectful to us….Can we??But aged people are mostly very short tempered . This is because with age their are development of several diseases and pain in their body. Though we are considerate about their pain but still if aged people are too much ill tempered then it sometimes become impossible to communicate with them. 

This is the reason why the term' generation gap' of ‘ age difference’ have come into being. 

Sometimes we also disrespect a child because we think that the child is a minority. This should also not be the case. We SHOULD NEVER JUDGE PEOPLE BY THEIR AGE. 

We should have consideration for the old age and also a child. But if things are out of hand and if old people or small children behave too badly then they definitely needs to be corrected.  

Some even requires medication for their constant ill behavior. 

Sometimes aged people are caught in sexual assault of a child… Why do such cases come into news?? That's because the character of that person is absolutely bad.  So we need to be aware of whom to show respect and whom not to. Just going by the age of the old man or old woman we should never show our respect or disrespect towards somebody.  

We need to show respect to the character and behavior and mentality of the person. If you are young or old, that's not our problem. Because these days, notorious criminal minds come out of a child and also old people apart from the middle aged or young people.

So to show respect or not is our decision. We NEED TO ANALYSE, OBSERVE and then show respect to any old people or a child, or we might get ourselves in really terrific trouble….

Because these days crimes are evolving from every age group people….and we definitely like save our soul…!!!
