Welcome, gentle readers. Today I am writing a story of a boy who may live an ideal childhood thirty years later in India. 

It is 2054 AD. Sabyasachi, a young boy from Kolkata, is reading in class V. He generally woke up at sharp 5 AM. After cleaning his teeth and gum, he drinks a glass of lemon water.

Then he joins his parents for a morning walk. The streets are clean. Orchids are on both sides of the road. Sabyasachi heard that years ago many vagabonds used to sleep on these roads. But hard and ethical work done by citizens and previous governments propelled India to a $10 trillion economy. Today, the government provides quality education to all. Vernacular languages became a medium for higher education. Now India is a hub for skilled workers. 

With the raising of awareness, people chose the right people as their representatives. Sabyasachi and his parents went to a nearby park. The kid took a deep breath. The air quality improved drastically with 20% green cover in the city.

Sabyasachi came back to home. He took a quick shower and offered his prayer. After prayer, he met his parents at the breakfast table. The table was full of soaked nuts, fruits, boiled vegetables, and cereals. Sabyasachi learned in school that a fresh and balanced diet nourished body and mind. He read in a book that thirty years ago India had a high rate of hypertension and diabetes. By adopting a healthier lifestyle, people in India beat the demons of lifestyle diseases. Now packaged food items are strictly regulated. Unscientific advertisements are censored.

After breakfast, Sabyasachi goes through his books. He uses AI for problem solving. The little boy went to school in a pool car. Now a days most people use a pool car or public transport. 

Sabyasachi's school is a four-storey building. It is a government-run school. The school campus is neat and tidy. Teachers teach in an interactive way. Innovative ideas and problem solving are encouraged. The goal of education changed over the year. Now it is not about marks but nurturing the young mind for endless possibilities. 

In the afternoon, Sabyasachi returns from school. His parents encourage him for outdoor activity. Sabyasachi loves football. This year he got selected for the school team. 

In the evening, he studies for a few hours. His study room has a globe,laptop, charts, and piles of books. At nine, he takes dinner. After dinner it is family time. Sabyasachi's day ends with a bedtime story from his father. He loves to hear about great kings of the past. The little boy aptly listens to stories of King Ashoka, Chandragupta, about Alexander and the heroics of Roman kings.
