Titanic Plot
James Cameron's 1997 film won 11 Oscars, including Best Picture, when it was released. Using a mix of real and fake characters from the doomed ship, Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio star as fictional characters aboard the Titanic in this romantic historical drama.
The story is divided into two different time periods, the first set in the center of 1996. A research ship begins to explore the wreck of the Titanic, led by Brock Lovett and his team.
They recovered a safe in the hope that it contained a necklace with a large rare diamond called the Heart of the Ocean. Instead, they found a drawing of a naked young woman wearing a similar necklace. The sketch is dated April 14, 1912, the same day the Titanic hit that iceberg.
Rose calls the group, informing them that she is the drawing group. She is brought on board and recounts how she met Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and the events leading up to the shipwreck.
From there, we go back to 1912 when 17-year-old Rose DeWitt Dukater boarded the HMS Titanic to America. But as she said herself, she compared the Titanic to a slave ship, having her chained to marry Caledon "Cal" Hockley.
When Rose decides to take her own life one night and jumps off the ship, she befriends Jack Dawson, a poor young artist who won a third-class ticket to the Titanic in a game of poker. .
Why did Rose write a mockery of Cal after the drawing?
As Jack and Rose got closer, Rose took Jack to her living room and paid him to paint her naked, wearing only the Heart of the Ocean necklace, which Cal had given her first. it's in the movie. She was never particularly fond of wearing it, saying it was bulky and heavy - ironically representing her own heavy heart in this proposed marriage.
How did Jack escape?
Rose leaves and finds Jack, freeing him from handcuffs with an ax. After some questionable "hands-on" footage, she miraculously broke her bond.
The couple managed to make their way back to the bridge, where Cal caught up with them both. An opportunity for Rose to leave a present, and Cal promises that they will soon be on their own lifeboats. Of course, they won't because the deal is only for Cal and Jack will stay. Thanks for reading till the very last end.will meet in the next blog.Thank you!
