As she asked him if he playing any prank on her or is this some kind of dare or bet with friends ? He got little confused.
He said, “I know you won't believe me right away. But, do you believe in love at first sight… ?" She moved her head saying "No". He continued, “ Never did I, until I saw you. And please believe me it's not any kind of joke. I didn't even planned to confess my feelings as we are gonna move to another city tomorrow again. I was gonna go away with my feelings silently. But today you ignored me and run inside your appartment as soon as you saw me. I thought you think me as some kind of pervert and I creeped you out. You missunderstood me and it hurt my feelings. I don't wanted to stay in your memories as some pervert. So I collected all my courage and came to find you. It is not easy to find and come to a unknown girls house. I truly deserve a "Shurya purskar" for this…" They both laughed at this last line and she felt more comfortable now.
She said, “ I am pretty much likable person, people always fall for me. So don't feel sad for yourself. And you seems a nice guy so don't worry it won't be difficult for you to make few friends. And if you want, I can even teach you, how to?” He said smiling softly, “I would have really like that, to learn from you, but unfortunately, I can't even see you from tomorrow…” She looked at his sad face and said, “we live in 21st century, here we can be connected even in a long distance… haven't they teach you about Smart phones in college. Have you forgotten about it… cheer up man… don't need to be so sad… tell me on what time tomorrow you'll be leaving, I'll come to say “bye” to you. You can see my pretty face last time atleast!" He smiled. they exchange contact details and said goodbye.
It was strange experience for both of them. They experienced a situation which looked straight coming from some romance novel. She spent a night thinking about him, as how unexpectedly he came and now going away.
She had to attend a seminar in her college. She looked at her watch as she rushed from college to home. It's already 3:15 PM. She thought, he might have gone without saying 'bye'. He told her that they'll be leaving at 3:00 Pm and she promised, she'll be in her balcony at 2:30 PM, to say him Goodbye. She almost got tears in her eyes as she throw her bag on couch and rush towards the balcony…
To her surprise, he was there. Standing in a balcony looking down towards ground. As she saw him, she eagerly waved her hand to get his attention. He looked at her and waved back. Then he opened a big paper sheet he was grabbing in his hand, which have “l Love you” written over it. She made heart sign with her hands and said “Love you too...” he turned the paper sheet which had written, “I mean it…” She tease him, showing her tongue 👅… He waved at her and said goodbye. She waved back with tears rolling down from her eyes…
