June 21, 2022.

       Today was the first day of the Work From Office. I was excited to visit office again. You see the thing is,  I am a software developer by profession so, I work in a IT company. And IT companies have that amazing architectural buildings. I worked in one of those. 

What actually happened, I got my degree in IT and  joined my company 2 years ago. I started working for atleast one month and lockdown happened. So, we all had to work for home. It was comfortable and all but it never had that feel, where I suppose to “out in a real world” . And as I told you, when first went in my company, I was love struck by the architecture and environment around that location. So I was so eager to join again and work from office. 

So, when they asked us to come to office, I was so happy. And since it's a rainy season, I was sure that, this allready beautiful place gonna look more gorgeous in green. 

           But to my disappointment, when I reached there in actual, they were having some construction work in front porch and the view, it was not feeling as enchanted as it felt 2 years ago😔. Then since it was first day they gave us 2 hours long induction. It was boring to be honest. And as it was first day they had only called the people who lives in a city, so there are very few people joined back and that huge place felt pretty much empty. And when we tried to start work, we faced issues with internet access. So, unfortunately I didn't completed any of my tasks for that day.

From my team only 4 people came including me, and 3 of them were new joiners, who joined during lockdown season. Well it's nice meeting them. We had talk on a call before but seeing them in real, it's a different thing. Meeting them was the only good thing happened in this whole day.  

And traveling after 2 years… I thought it will be more nostalgic and stuff but, god! It was irritating in reality. I totally lost my enthusiasm about going back again and work from office. I am totally disappointed and feeling that work form home is totally better option…
