Today I am going to tell about tandoori chicken. Which is chicken marinated with youghrt and spices for whole night, after that grill in tandoor with butter basting.
INGREDIENTS
Take 1 breast or leg piece
2 tbsp of ginger garlic paste
2 tsp of black salt
2 tsp of chat masala
salt to taste
4 no. Of Lemon juice
4 tbsp of Kashmiri chilly powder
1 tsp of turmeric powder
1 tbsp of coriander powder
1 tbsp of cummin powder
1 tsp of garam masala powder
1 tsp of black pepper powder
2 tsp of dry Fenugreek leaf crushed
5 tbsp of Mustard oil
2 tsp of cashewnut powder
8 tbsp of hung youghrt
METHOD
Chicken marinate with 1 lemon juice, salt and ginger garlic paste, keep aside for 30 mins.
Then take a bowl add all spices, nicely rubbed with your palm till masala get nice red colour.
Then add hung youghrt and mix well. Keep aside.
Now squezze chicken and marinate with masala, keep in chiller for minimum 2 hour.
If you want then you keep chicken in chiller for whole night.
Then now you can take it out from chiller and skewe in a skewer, cook in clay oven till half cook.
Take it out hang it, wait for water drain out.
Then again put in tandoor for full cook.
Now take out , and do butter basting again cook for 2 min.
Now transfer for serving plate, and plate garnish with shredded salad.
Tandoori chicken serve with mint chutney.
Serve hot with tandoor roti and chappati.
Now you can enjoy tandoori chicken with your family or friends.
