Hello guys welcome back to my blog, Today we will discuss here something ingtresting.

Uttapam otherwise called oothapam or uttappa is a flavorful hotcake that might have begun in the Tamil
Cooking. It is a staple in every one of the Territories of Southern India and most homes and cafés make these. Generally
uttapam is made by splashing rice and lentils for a few hours, after the fact ground to a thick player and matured
until light and breezy.
This hitter is then poured over a hot skillet/dosa tawa and afterward finished off with vegetables and spices like onions,
green chilies and curry leaves or coriander leaves. A liberal measure of oil is sprinkled and the uttapam are
cooked until the base turns fresh and the top is cooked to thick and fleecy goodness.

It is gone over to the opposite side and cooked until the veggies are marginally delicate yet fresh.
Like most different recipes, each family has their own recipe to make uttapam that changes in the extent of rice
furthermore, lentils. A many individuals likewise use fenugreek seeds and poha to help fermantation.

But today i giving a twist in this recipe. we are make cereal grass dish.

 

WHAT IS RAGI ?

Ragi or finger millets are coarse food grains devoured predominantly by individuals in the provincial and southern pieces of India. The ragi grain is utilized to set up a flour that contains half part wheat. Because of its high maturation quality, planning different beverages is utilized.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 gm of Ragi
  • 50 gm of Urad Dal
  • 10 gm of Chana Dal
  • 2 gm of Methi Seed
  • Salt as per taste
  • 5 gm of Corinder leaf
  • 10 gm of Tomato
  • 5 gm of Green chilli
  • 15 gm of Onion

COOKING METHOD

  •  All grocery dry items soak in water for 6 hours to 8 hours.
  • In another side finely chop all vegetables, which is already write in ingredients. keep in bowl
  • Then blend it make a fine paste, take out in a container.
  • Then add salt and mix well.
  • And keep in room temperature for fermentation.
  • Our batter is ready.
  • Heat a non sticky or tawa, add some oil.
  • Pour over the hot pan and make it small round shape like pan cake.
  • Add your chopped onion, coriander, tomato, chilli.
  • cook it medium heat, then flip it another side then cook again till getting golden brown colour.
  • your dish is ready.
  • Cook it for some time and serve it hot with sambar and chutney.
