Fish Curry Recipe

Fish curry with rice is a delicious meal for north indians

Now all over India have a corona pandemic. Daily to daily cases increases rapidly, so stay home and be safe. My personal suggestion is all of you if you have necessary then go out otherwise stay home as much as possible.

If you are at home, getting bored. I am sharing my recipe, you can try and enjoy it.

Let's make fish curry with love.

INGREDIENTS 

  • Fish 1kg
  • Onion slice  200gms
  • Tomato slice 150gms
  • Ginger paste 25gms
  • Garlic paste 25gms
  • Garlic cloves 10nos
  • Mustard oil 150ml
  • Potato wedges 3nos
  • Raw mango 1 small cut into a cube (50gm)
  • Curry leaf 15gms
  • Cummin seed 5gms
  • Mustard seed 5 gms
  • White mustard 1tsp
  • Fennel seed 3gms
  • Black onion seed 1pinch
  • Chilli powder 1tbsp
  • Turmeric powder r½tbsp
  • Coriander powder 1tbsp
  • Fresh coriander leaves 30gms roughly chopped

METHOD

  • First marination fish along with salt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, and turmeric powder,
  • Keep aside for 5 min, it absorbs all masala.
  • Put mustard oil 100ml on a pan, then put fish on pan cook one side till golden, then turn the fish another side cook till golden colour. After cooked take it out in a bowl.
  • Fried fish, keep aside
  • In the same leftover oil potato wedges also fried and keep aside
  • Take another pot, put mustard oil
  • When it releases fragrant then put mustard seed, cumin seed, fennel seed, white mustard, crushed garlic, and curry leaves.
  • When it crackled then put onion slice and saute it.
  • When the onion is getting brown then add ginger garlic paste along with all powder, saute it.
  • Cook till the raw flavor is gone.
  • Then add tomato slice and saute it for 5 minutes.
  • When it releases oil then add mangoes cube.
  • Then put 200 ml of water covering the pot with a lead for 10 mins.
  • Check seasoning at the end you can add pan-fried fish and potato wedges.
  • Slowly cooked for 5 minutes add coriander chop.
  • Then you will get the aroma of fish curry.
  • Ready to eat with roti and rice.

Fish curry serve hot with hot roti and rice.
