Chicken Kofta Curry ( Chicken Meatballs Curry )

Hi Guys,

I am back with new recipe for you. Ana all of you always welcome to my blog cooking with me.

Today I am going to tell about Murg kofta curry. In this minced chicken mix with ginger, garlic, cilantro and spices. Deep in curry.

Let's start our recipe,

INGREDIENTS 

CHICKEN MEAT BALLS

  • 1 bowl of boneless chicken.
  • ½ inch of ginger.
  • 4 no. of garlic cloves.
  • 2 no. of small green chilly chopped.
  • 1 cup of coriander leaves.
  • ⅙ tsp of Cummin powder.
  • ⅛ tsp of turmeric powder.
  • 1 tsp of chilli powder.
  • 2 tsp of oil.
  • Sat to taste.

GRAVY

  • 1 no. of big onion nicely sliced.
  • 3 tbsp of grated coconut.
  • ⅓ inch of ginger.
  • 4 no. of garlic cloves.
  • 3 tbsp of tomato puree.
  • 1 tbsp of Kashmiri chilli powder.
  • 1 tsp of garam masala powder.
  • ¼ tsp of turmeric powder.
  • 4 tbsp of sunflower oil.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Coriander leaf for garnish.

METHOD 

  • First we are make Balls, so take a jar add chicken, ginger, garlic, chop chilly and coriander leaf. Blend togather and make a ground paste like keema.
  • Then put in a bowl. Add all spices and mix well.
  •  Start to make small size of balls (size like black grapes)with oily hand. Keep aside.
  • Now start to make gravy.
  • Make gg paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add onion slice cooked till getting golden brown colour. Then take it out in bowl.
  • In same pan add coconut, stir continuously till get golden brown. Then put in same bowl. Wait for cooldown.
  • Now take another pan add oil, let it be heat. Add gg paste, saute it till raw flavour is gone.
  • Then add all dry spices, cooked for 1 min.
  • Add tomato puree. Keep stiring till oil goes separate from puree.
  • While puree cooking time , make thick paste of coconut and onion.
  • Now add this paste in gravy. Mix well. Keep in slow flame.
  • Put balls in curry and cover lid for 5 mins. Cooked in slow flame.
  • After 5 min mix the curyy.
  • Curry is ready. Transfer in serving ball.
  • Garnish with cilantro. And little bit cream.
  • Enjoy with chappati, Roti, Paratha and Naan.

You can make in different way. You can also do balls steam separate and curry cooked separate. After curry ready. Curry transfer in a serving bowl then add ball on curry top. Then garnish it.
