A director who is aware of the predictability of his films and has the guts to openly admit that his films are predictable, entered the theater to watch 'Hridayam' curious as to how he would make the three hours of very large screen space engaging. About fifteen songs, all hit the YouTube charts. It was also interesting to see how all these songs were placed.

2006-2010 Chennai K.C. The first half of the movie is about tech engineering college life. The meeting between Arun Neelakandan and Darshana, who comes there as a first year student, the love and breakup between the two and Arun's friendships during their four years of college life is depicted.

In the second half of the film, the film brings to the audience the changes that happen to Arun and Darshan in their lives after completing their studies in college. The second half of the film focuses on Arun's life.Apart from the central characters Arun, Darshana and Nithya, there are also some characters that touch the heart, and it is heartwarming to be able to join them even when they leave the theater.

Selva, Kali, Lechu Patti, Maya and a handful of other eye-watering and heart-touching characters are also present in this movie.  It's not the unpredictability of the storyline that makes Heart good, rather it's the predictable storyline and the scenes that the viewer can relate to college life or any moment in life.  It is there that Vineeth Srinivasan's heart becomes a heartwarming viewing experience.

The film features a handful of actors who don't hold back a single step in their performances. Pranav Mohanlal's role as Arun Neelakantan can be described as his career best. He easily gets into the audience's mind with a few glances and smiles. Kalyani and Darshana have made their characters good and believable.

The role of Darshana was more challenging than Nitya. Darshana Rajendran was holding Darshana Bhadra. Kali and Selvam are close to the heart. They deserve a round of applause not only for potter creation but also for performance. Vishwajith's camera shots at the end were very beautiful. Vishwajith has managed to present a great visual feast to the audience. Each frame was suited to the flow and rhythm of the story.

Fifteen songs was a literal shocker, but the songs were placed beautifully and made the story flow smoothly. Hisham Abdul Wahab has composed the music for the songs and composed the background music. As a Vineeth Srinivasan film, 'Hridayam' is a great viewing experience that is worth the audience's time.
