here is the earth, here is the moon! one step closer to the dream goal Chandrayaan 3; released pictures

Delhi: ISRO released more pictures from Chandrayaan 3. The images of the Earth and the Moon taken by two different cameras on the lander have been released. After the launch on July 14, the Lander Imager captured the image of the Earth. The second is a picture of the moon taken by the lander horizontal velocity camera, designed to help land on the moon

This picture was taken on August 6.  The next descent of Chandrayaan 3 orbiting the moon will take place between 11:30 and 12:30 on August 14.  On August 16, after bringing the probe into an orbit 100 kilometers away from the moon, the propulsion module and the lander will separate on the 17th.  August 23 will be a soft landing.

The propulsion module and the lander will be separated after the probe is brought into orbit 100 kilometers away from the moon. This decisive stage will take place on August 17. The propulsion module will continue in the previous orbit. The lander will move to the orbit with the closest distance of thirty kilometers and the closest distance of one hundred kilometers from the moon.

This is where the preparations for the soft landing begin. The country is waiting for the day when the legs of the probe touch the moon. The first footage from the probe came out the other day. On August 5, the cameras of the probe first captured the moon while entering the lunar orbit. The first pictures give the indications that there are more brilliant views to come.

everything is now in the hands of 'maya'; new operating system ready, Ministry of Defense with a huge advance

As part of strengthening the fight against cyber attacks, the Ministry of Defense has developed its own native operating system called "Maya" instead of Windows. "Maya" aims to increase computer security and ensure protection from cyber threats. Microsoft's newly developed 'Maya OS' will soon be on all Defense Ministry computers

It is aimed to be implemented by the end of the year. This strategic move is expected to strengthen the Ministry's cyber security and reduce its reliance on foreign software. Indian Army, Navy, Air Force are also preparing to switch to Maya OS. In 2021, the decision to develop this system was made after continuous cyber attacks against India's defense systems

A team of experts from Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Center for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), and National Informatics Center (NIC) collaborated for six months to develop Maya OS. Running on the open source Ubuntu platform, this operating system offers a cyberthreat-defense interface.

At the same time, in collaboration with Indian software companies and academic institutions, it will be evaluated and further modified if necessary. With the software ready, the Ministry of Defense is trying to switch from Microsoft's Windows to the local Maya OS.
