Often in the crowd , in the chaos we tend to forget ourselves , when I say ourselves I mean a complete US! We forget what we stand for and we neglect our feelings , and atlast we succeed in over shadowing what we really want. While satisfying everyone's want we get prone to forget our wants too. Strange isn't it!! While fulfilling their wants , their needs , we somehow loose ourselves . We loose our stance and somewhere or the other ourselves too. Standing upto every second person's desire or wants is good , but forgetting our aspirations is just more than worse.
Often we compare us with the one more accomplished than us (and some less) Yes I wrote the less part in the bracket because that doesn't really bother us , what bothers us more is that someone somehere had got way more than us or has achieved a lot more than us. Well it doesn't really matter how much anyone has got more , one thing which matters the most is their success.
Falling in trap of comparision we forget our achievements too. Why? Only because that successive person has got anywhere little or way more than us. In our life we struggle most of the time finding our true self , who we wanted to be what we really want to do in our life. While pleasing other's we stop doing something what we really want to maybe because of the fear of being judged harshly or failing bad. But what if we win! Let's not stop believing in ourselves. Let's not bother what others will think or judge us. Trust me do anything society will remain judgemental as ever!
Talking about myself! Well I am the one who lived as per the norms of the society and followed their expectations and what did I get in return? Satisfaction? No! unhappiness and despair. Because that wasn't me . I was living a life being untruthful and unjust to myself and my wishes.
When we look at others we wished to be like them. We wished we could have what they already have in their lives. Have we ever looked at us that way? I guess no. Start looking at yourself without the layers of judgement but with the eyes of satisfaction.
You can't be someone else and neither does that person . You are Yourself and You're unique with your own fantasies and talents. We got different attributes than them , polishing them would surely help is to stand beyondthe crowd but envying them would neither make us stand inbetween them nor far off them. Sometimes we act like someone we are not really. Maybe we be that to impress other or to get something. We have not been us at that point because we thought we would get something we want being that. Being the other self makes you split your personalities and somewhere change yourself too. Being yourself doesn't make you selfish it just means you love the way you are and you won't change for the world.
