hello friends, I am going to tell you about the Kerala tourism.so, hope you enjoy this.

ABOUT KERALA:

The province on the tropical Malabar coast in southwestern India is one of India's most popular tourist destinations. Named one of the 10 paradises in the world by National Geographic traveler, Kerala is best known for its ecotourism efforts and beautiful backwaters.

Its unique culture and tradition, combined with its diverse demographics, makes Kerala one of the most popular tourist destinations on the world. With a growth rate of 13.31% the tourism industry is making significant contribution to the state's economy.

Until the early 1980s, Kerala was a relatively unknown tourist destination, with most tourist routes concentrated in the northern part of the country. An aggressive marketing campaign initiated by the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation, a government agency that oversees the state's tourism outlook, has laid the foundation for the growth of the tourism industry. In the decades that followed, the Kerala Tourism Board was able to develop into one  of India's niche vacation destinations. The slogan "Kerara-Kingdom of God" was adopted in tourism advertising and became a global super brand. Kerala is recognized as one of the top brand recall destinations. In 2010, Kerala attracted 660,000 foreign tourists.

Kerala is a popular destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Kerala is known for its beaches, alappuzha and column backwaters, mountains and nature reserves. Other popular attractions in the state include the beaches of Kovalam, Muzappi langad, Bekar and Kapad. Backwater tourism and sea resort around lake ashtamadi in column.

Summer resorts and resorts in Munnar, Wayanad, Nelliampathi, Bagamon and Ponmudi. Wayanad, periyar, Parambikram, Silent Valley National Park, Eravikulam national Park and wildlife Refuges.

Tourists also frequently visit the backwater area, which is a large network of rivers, lakes and canals centered around lake Benbanard.

You will also visit heritage sites such as Padmanab Haplum Palace, Hill Palace and mattenchari palace. The grand Kerala Shopping Festival was launched by the Kerala State Government in 2007 to further promote tourism in Kerala.

Since it has been held every year from December to January. The State Tourism Agenda promotes environmentally sustainable tourism with a focus on local culture, wilderness adventures, volunteering and the personal growth of the locals.

Efforts have been made to minimize the negative impact of traditional tourism on the natural environment and to enhance the cultural integrity of the local population.

State also delves deeper into MICE tourism, which focuses primarily on Kochi.
